Workshops
Workshops are for older dancers who want to improve their dance skills and become better, more well-rounded dancers. These hour long classes will provide dancers with physical and mental skills that they can use in class, during performances, and in their every-day lives. Each week will have a different focus such as strength & flexibility, jumps & turns, how to be a better performer, and building mental toughness as a dancer. For this class, you can choose to register for all five workshops ($90) or just one workshop ($20 each).
Week 1: Strength & Flexibility with Miss Leah
Week 2: Improving Your Performance Quality with Miss Gabi
Week 3: Jumps & Turns with Mr Kodah
Week 4: Building Mental Skills as a Dancer with Miss Leah
Week 5: TBD
Class Wear
- Dancers should wear tight fitting clothing that they can move around in (leggings, tank top, shorts, bodysuit, t-shirt). You can click visit our class wear page for more examples.
- Dancers should not wear necklaces, bracelets, or dangly earrings as they can be dangerous.
- Dancers should have their hair up and out of their face.
- In regular season classes, each style of dance requires a different pair of shoes. For Spring Session if you do not have the required shoes, that is not a problem! Your dancer can go barefoot or wear a pair of clean running shoes with non-marking soles. Wearing just socks is not allowed as dancers can slip and fall.
